A nationwide recall has been issued for a specific batch of soft-tip silicone feeding spoons designed for babies aged 4-12 months. Safety inspectors discovered that the silicone tip can detach from the plastic handle during use, creating a choking hazard. Approximately 85,000 sets sold between March and October are affected. The agency advises parents to stop using the spoons immediately and pull on the silicone tip before each feeding. If the tip moves or separates, the product should be discarded. A free replacement is available through the distributor’s recall portal.
